About the role
- Processor Verification Engineer developing verification plans for in-house designed RISC-V based AI Processor Core. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification plans for Processor units, ensuring all requirements and specifications are met.
- Design and implement constrained random testbenches for processor core.
- Collaborate with architecture, RTL design, and compiler teams to ensure thorough verification coverage.
- Perform functional, performance, and stress testing on processor units.
- Develop and maintain test scripts and automation tools.
- Identify and debug issues, providing detailed documentation and reports.
- Drive the development and maintenance of processor verification methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure verification milestones are achieved.
Requirements
- A degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering or computer science or other relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC or FPGA verification, with a strong focus on processor verification especially using instruction set simulators.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and C/C++ or Python for designing and implementing testbenches, and test cases for processor verification.
- Understanding of verification flow for creating verification plans and coverage metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with processor architecture, RTL design, software and compiler teams to ensure comprehensive verification coverage.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, shell or Tcl for automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
