About the role

  • Senior AdTech Consultant in Avenga’s AdTech practice advising clients on strategic digital advertising technology solutions and capabilities. Leading engagements to define advertising technology visions and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery engagements with senior client stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Sales, Data, and Technology
  • Support clients in articulating their advertising vision, monetization ambitions, and capability gaps, and translate business goals into AdTech roadmaps and MVP scopes
  • Advise on strategic trade-offs across DSP, SSP, Ad Server, Retail Media, and Payment Media models, including walled-garden versus open ecosystem approaches and build-versus-buy decisions
  • Shape first-party data and CDP/DMP strategies within a privacy-first landscape
  • Produce high-quality consulting outputs, including executive recommendations, MVP option frameworks, capability maps, and high-level architecture direction
  • Support pre-sales activities by shaping credible, business-led narratives and proposals around AdTech solutions
  • Bridge business intent and technical delivery by working closely with AdTech architects and engineers to ensure scope and client expectations are aligned before build phases begin

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in AdTech, digital advertising strategy, or related consulting
  • Strong working knowledge of the AdTech landscape, including DSP, SSP, Ad Server, CDP/DMP, programmatic fundamentals, and measurement and attribution frameworks
  • Experience leading client-facing conversations at a strategic level, beyond platform demonstrations or technical support
  • Ability to translate complex AdTech concepts into clear, business-oriented language for non-technical stakeholders
  • A structured and analytical mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, frame problems, define options, and develop recommendations
  • A background in one or more of the following areas: AdTech or MarTech consultancy, digital media agency strategy, AdTech product or solution roles, or in-house advertising technology teams
