About the role
- DevOps Engineer creating a new cloud-native SSO solution based on NGINX and Kubernetes at Atos. Involves collaborating on the transition from Apache and VM to a modern infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Participate in building a new cloud-native SSO based on NGINX and Kubernetes
- Learn the current SSO architecture (Apache + VMs)
- Contribute to the design of a new SSO front based on NGINX
- Build a Docker image of NGINX tailored to the SSO's requirements
- Deploy this new SSO on a Kubernetes cluster
- Implement modern best practices: configuration as code, monitoring, scaling, automated testing
- Take part in a progressive migration to the new architecture
Requirements
- Understanding of how a modern SSO works (without the business-specific details)
- NGINX (reverse proxy, routing, certificates, performance)
- Docker & containerization
- Kubernetes (deployments, Services, scaling, monitoring)
- CI/CD (deployment automation)
- Basic knowledge of web authentication (OIDC/SAML — just enough to understand the concepts)
