Responsibilities
- Own and define end-to-end architecture for cloud and hybrid cloud applications
- Design scalable, secure, high-availability SaaS platforms
- Drive architectural decisions aligned with business and product roadmap
- Establish architecture standards, best practices, and reference designs
- Lead design reviews, architecture governance, and technical direction
- Identify, plan, and reduce technical debt
- Define microservices, API, and integration architecture
- Ensure systems meet non-functional requirements (performance, security, availability, cost)
- Guide teams in building cloud-native solutions on AWS using Docker and modern DevOps practices
- Promote TDD, CI/CD, and high-quality engineering practices
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and Architects to define delivery timelines
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to senior engineers and tech leads
- Evaluate new technologies and define long-term technology roadmap
- Ensure secure-by-design principles and compliance standards
- Drive observability, monitoring, and reliability architecture
- Influence UI/UX architectural patterns and frontend scalability strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or equivalent
- Master’s degree preferred
- 14+ years of overall experience in software development
- 7+ years in architecture or technical leadership roles
- Strong experience in Cloud Architecture (AWS preferred)
- Deep knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and SOA
- Expertise in RESTful APIs, API gateways, and service communication patterns
- Strong understanding of UI architecture and modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, JavaScript, RxJS, HTML, CSS)
- Experience with MEAN/MERN stacks and full-stack architecture
- Expertise in containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment models
- Strong experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, GitHub and branching strategies
- Strong understanding of Web and Cloud Security principles
- Experience with SaaS architecture and multi-tenancy models
- Strong knowledge of system performance, scalability, and resilience patterns
- Experience with testing frameworks and test strategy design
- Comfortable working with Unix/Linux environments.
