About the role
- Test Engineering Intern supporting R&D Testing and V&V activities at Arthrex, Inc. Preparing and executing test documentation with engineering guidance while located in Santa Barbara, CA.
Responsibilities
- Support the Test Engineering Team to perform R&D Testing and Verification & Validation (V&V) activities.
- Prepare, execute, and document Engineering and V&V Testing with guidance from the engineering staff.
- Deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
- Progress towards a college degree in Engineering (Electrical, Software, Industrial, Mechanical), Physics, or Computer Science required. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Experience with technical writing, LabVIEW, Matlab, Linux, object oriented programming, .net, or Solidworks preferred.
- Experience with oscilloscopes and multimeters preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel.
