About the role
- Contribute to the development and deployment of the AI and data analytics strategy for use cases: address process-AI and data analytics use cases across multiple functional areas
- Monitor and regularly assess the impact and performance of solutions within ArianeGroup’s information system
- Select and/or develop relevant AI models for each identified use case: choose the best algorithms based on the specific needs of each application; participate in the development lifecycle to implement AI algorithms; adapt and further develop these models according to the requirements of the various business units; monitor their deployment and ensure their scalability; coordinate their interaction with other software systems or hardware components; design AI-based solutions and develop applications using generative AI/LLM architectures
- Promote knowledge sharing and foster innovation through collaborative workshops, hackathons, thematic workshops and seminars; contribute to the internal expert network with key internal stakeholders; drive change management by supporting cross-functional onboarding of internal teams and leaders through training, workshops and demonstrations.
Requirements
- PhD or engineering degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, statistics, applied mathematics, physics or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Consultant or Engineer in AI and data science
- Knowledge of fundamental concepts and common tools in the following disciplines: machine learning/deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI
- Good knowledge of popular open-source frameworks such as TensorFlow, LangChain, Vanna.ai, Dataiku and LLM models
- Entrepreneurial mindset focused on delivering rapid, tangible results
- Ability to work collaboratively and propose consensus-based solutions within a distributed German–French organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German and French is an advantage
