Responsibilities
- Building, maintaining and evolving our platform
- Enabling users to manage agile, complex and technologically advanced systems
- Providing responsive and reliable services to Electricity grid operators
- Collaborating with cross-functional team including Product Manager and Scrum Master
- Solving complex technical problems with autonomy
- Contributing to thought leadership by staying abreast of industry trends
- Defining and maintaining a long term strategic roadmap for the platform
Requirements
- Degree level educated in computer science or related discipline or equivalent workplace experience
- Organised and adaptable team player
- Experience in Go or any other strongly typed languages and AWS and cloud native technologies
- Experience with a range of database technologies
- Experience in working with cloud-based, microservice architectures with a focus on continuous integration and delivery
- Interested in making a real impact on climate change and have a passion for solving problems with technology
- Proven background in solving problems pragmatically and collaboratively
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
