About the role

  • Entry Level Water Engineer in Indianapolis, IN tackling water issues like quality and scarcity. Supporting project design and management with a focus on sustainability and resilience.

Responsibilities

  • evaluating, planning, and designing projects related to water/wastewater/stormwater treatment and conveyance
  • supporting project management activities
  • conducting vulnerability assessments, mitigation planning, and designing solutions for utilities, municipalities, and cities
  • performing site visits, water sampling, analyzing water quality, evaluating technologies, troubleshooting processes, and optimizing plant operations
  • supporting preparation of reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials
  • ensuring project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality, health and safety standards
  • working independently and as part of a team

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline)
  • Prior work/internship experience at a design or consulting engineering firm or municipal work environment (preferred)
  • Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and/or Revit (preferred)
  • EIT certification (preferred)
