Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and design of infrastructure projects for roadways
- Perform different roles on multi-disciplined projects including planning, technical design, and production lead.
- Develop project scopes and budgets, maintaining client needs for the Project Manager.
- Mentor and develop junior staff and design/drafters.
- Maintaining project schedules and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years’ work experience which includes experience on GDOT projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- PE within 6 months of hire.
- Planning and/or Engineering experience with infrastructure
- Proficiency with CAD particularly Microstation and OpenRoads.
- Familiarity with GDOT design standards and policies.
- Interpersonal and client facing requirements will require excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prefer experience in a client facing role, either as a team or individual.
