About the role

  • Project Engineer supporting civil design and environmental permitting projects with scientists and engineers. Involves project management and design development for varied complexity across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, project managers, and technical experts on civil design and environmental permitting projects
  • Analyze documentation including technical reports, construction submittals, maps, and drawings to understand site characteristics
  • Develop civil engineering designs on projects of varying complexity
  • Conduct field assignments, including client and stakeholder meetings
  • Delegate work and mentor junior engineers
  • Participate in and facilitate group meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering or closely related field
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience
  • Fluent with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, or other terrain modeling design software
  • Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (e.g., HydroCAD, WinTR-55, PondPack, HEC-RAS)
