About the role
- Principal SAP Developer managing international SAP projects with a focus on innovative solutions. Leading technical teams and providing support in project planning and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Participate in projects as (deputy) project manager or consultant in process and/or implementation projects with a focus on SAP development
- Take responsibility for and manage entire projects — from planning and concept through testing and go-live
- Lead national or international projects and subprojects, including coordination of technical teams
- Provide technical consulting in close collaboration with colleagues, clients and service providers in an international environment
- Identify and drive business development for new, innovative topics to advance the department
- Support the sales team with pre-sales activities
Requirements
- Experience as a project manager across all project phases
- Solid methodological knowledge of traditional (waterfall) and agile project approaches
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills, and effective facilitation of decision-making processes
- Know-how and experience in SAP development (ABAP/4, ABAP/OO, interface programming, SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, SAP Gateway, Core Data Services or SAP Cloud Platform)
- Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
