About the role
- Support financial planning and analysis activities for specific business portfolios in Retail and Business & Private bank. Prepare reports and assist with productivity strategies across stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Your role will play a key part in supporting the various financial and planning activities of specific business portfolio under Retail and Business & Private bank division.
- You will be responsible to support the month end activities to help finalize the actuals, forecast, and outlook numbers.
- There is also preparation of various analytical reports and month-end packs to help business understand gaps between actuals, forecast and outlook.
- In addition, the role also requires supporting the business with its productivity strategies be it local or bank-wide initiatives which requires coordination across various stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience may be beneficial
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a similar industry or organisation
- Exposure to Retail and Business & Private bank is a plus
- Advanced MS Excel skills, data wrangling, ability to create reports or ability to write macros is an advantage
