About the role

  • Business Systems Analyst overseeing contractor security and access governance at Anthropic. Building onboarding programs and ensuring compliance while enhancing user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the IT and security access for contingent workers including onboarding, periodic access reviews, and offboarding
  • Develop and maintain policies governing contractor access levels and compliance requirements
  • Partner with Security, Legal, and People teams to ensure contractor engagements meet security standards
  • Build and manage relationships with staffing agencies for the security organization
  • Implement and maintain processes for contractor identity management and access provisioning
  • Conduct regular access reviews, audits, and certifications for the contingent workforce
  • Create clear documentation and runbooks for contractor security processes
  • Support audit and compliance efforts with documentation and evidence gathering
  • Design and continuously improve onboarding experience for technical roles
  • Coordinate to ensure new hires have accounts, access, equipment, and resources ready before day one
  • Build onboarding curricula that balance security training, cultural integration, and role-specific enablement
  • Collect feedback from new hires to iterate on the onboarding program

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in contingent workforce management, security operations, HR operations, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience building or managing contractor/vendor security programs
  • Familiarity with identity and access management principles, least-privilege access, and role-based access control
  • Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and how they apply to workforce management
  • Track record of building or improving onboarding programs
  • Strong program management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent documentation creation and process design skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfort with ambiguity and building programs from scratch
  • Data-driven approach to measuring and improving program outcomes
  • Effective communication skills, particularly in translating security requirements into clear guidance for non-security audiences
  • Belief that security and great user experience are complementary priorities
  • Advocacy for the experience of people going through your programs
  • Proactive and self-directed with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Care about the societal impacts of work and excitement about contributing to AI safety
