Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms
- Identify, document, and track bugs using a defect management tool (e.g., Jira)
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and edge cases
- Validate bug fixes and ensure production readiness
- Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Contribute to test documentation and QA process improvements
- Support release validation and post-release monitoring
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 1 – 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Experience in manual testing and defect lifecycle management
- Experience in testing mobile applications
- Basic experience in API testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts
