Responsibilities
Functional and disciplinary leadership of the service project managers and the service back office
Monitoring and coordination of the project portfolio, including reporting portfolio status to management
Coordination of sales support for project planning and proposal preparation
Further development and definition of service strategy, service delivery processes and interfaces to adjacent teams such as Design/Engineering, Sales and Project Management
Point of contact for the team regarding service-related processes in SAP
Further development and standardization of the SAP user processes in Service, including connected/adjacent IT systems
Concept development to accelerate workshop turnaround times for service orders
Lead, motivate and develop (professionally and personally) the assigned employees
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Naval Architecture or equivalent qualification
Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in service and project management within mechanical and plant engineering / shipbuilding; initial leadership experience is an advantage
Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
German and English, spoken and written
Experience in a shipyard / maritime environment
Reliability, strong communication and persuasion skills
