About the role
- Project Manager overseeing customer projects in building pollutants field at WESSLING Consulting Engineering. Managing inspections, planning remediation, and maintaining customer relationships in Mannheim.
Responsibilities
- Independently lead client projects
- Inspect buildings for hazardous substances (e.g., asbestos, mineral wool / man-made mineral fibers (MMVF), PCBs and PAHs)
- Prepare proposals, investigation concepts, specifications, and expert reports in the field of building contaminants
- Plan contaminant remediation measures and provide construction management/site supervision during their implementation
- Maintain and expand business relationships with our clients
- Perform measurement verification, invoice checks and assessment of contract variations as part of site supervision
Requirements
- Degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, geosciences, natural sciences or a comparable field, or equivalent further qualifications
- Several years of relevant professional experience or project experience in the described areas

- Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Interest and experience in client support/account management and in acquiring new clients
- German language skills: at least C1 level spoken and written (proficient for both social and professional use)
