About the role

  • Senior Manager driving commercial financial planning and Revenue Growth Management at Alphia, a leading pet food manufacturer. Supporting profitable revenue growth and enhancing financial transparency in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Manager, Commercial / Sales Finance is a strategic finance partner supporting Alphia’s commercial organization and the Sr. Director of Commercial Finance.
  • Leads core components of the commercial forecast and annual planning process, including volume, revenue, mix, and pricing assumptions.
  • Partners with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to translate go-to-market strategies into accurate, executable financial plans.
  • Supports long-range planning and strategic initiatives through forward-looking financial modeling and insight.
  • Analyzes price, mix, pack architecture, and channel performance to identify revenue and margin optimization opportunities.
  • Provides financial insight into portfolio rationalization, innovation economics, and go-to-market prioritization.
  • Acts as a primary finance partner to key sales leaders and customer teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure to commercial finance, sales finance, FP&A, or RGM in a CPG, Food, Beverage, or Pet Food environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting pricing strategy, revenue management, and customer-facing commercial teams.
  • Strong FP&A and financial modeling capabilities, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Deep understanding of pricing architecture, price realization, mix management, and revenue drivers.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP, planning, and pricing systems preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong communication and executive presence, particularly in customer-facing and senior leadership settings.
  • High business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
