About the role

• Software Engineer focused on Angular development for client’s team in Porto. Responsible for designing architecture, developing applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the Angular application architecture, ensuring scalability, modularity, and long-term maintainability aligned with SaaS best practices.
• Develop optimized Angular applications using best practices such as lazy loading, state management, and efficient change detection to ensure fast and responsive user interfaces.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the design of critical features to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and develop proof of concepts (POCs) when needed.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers.
• Support the early resolution of client issues while ensuring compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Maintain clear and structured documentation to support knowledge sharing, onboarding, and development processes.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and implement effective solutions.
• Identify technical debt and areas for improvement, ensuring they are documented and considered in prioritization.

Requirements

• **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field.
• Strong experience with **Angular** (preferably recent versions).
• Experience in **developing scalable, high-performance applications**.
• Knowledge of **SaaS best practices** (modularity, maintainability, performance).
• Proficiency in **lazy loading, state management, and change detection strategies**.
• Experience in **designing and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code**.
• Experience in **code reviews and agile team collaboration**.
• Ability to work closely with **Product Owners, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers**.
• Ability to **translate complex business requirements** (e.g., Monetization, Advisor, MAR 2026) into intuitive interfaces.
• Strong **communication skills**.
• Fluency in **English**
