Responsibilities
- Gather client requirements and work closely with the project management team.
- Analyze technical files (dimensions, structural and regulatory constraints).
- Design and propose reliable, appropriate structural solutions.
- Prepare project management documentation: plans, technical specifications (CCTP), quantities and cost estimates.
- Ensure the technical, economic and regulatory soundness of projects.
- Undertake occasional travel nationwide.
- Draft calculation notes and define structural assumptions.
- Perform sizing calculations and be proficient with 3D calculation software.
- Produce execution packages: layout plans, timber framing plans, detailed and cutting documentation (2D and 3D).
- Prepare assembly calculation notes.
- Develop workshop and site plan packages: installation plans, detail manuals, hardware lists and production lists.
- Conduct on-site surveys, exploratory probes and photo reports.
- Write technical reports and provide recommendations.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in civil engineering, timber engineering or equivalent.
- Strong command of structural calculation and 3D modeling software.
- Rigour, autonomy and a strong team-working mindset.
- Interest in technical innovation and projects integrated into their environment.
