About the role

• Junior/Senior Full-Stack Developer at AICORN developing embedded software and cloud solutions for smart mobility. Collaborating closely with hardware developers and project managers to revolutionize railway transport.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle integration & embedded Linux – You develop software components for embedded platforms (Linux-based) for data acquisition, processing, and forwarding.
• Backend & data processing – You design the processing, storage, and visualization of count data in the backend (e.g., for statistics, diagnostics, and operational metrics).
• Interfaces & standards – You implement and test interfaces according to various standards, MQTT, and other common protocols.
• Software testing & quality – You ensure stability and maintainability through automated tests, debugging, and version control (e.g., Git, CI/CD).
• Close collaboration – You work closely with hardware engineers, project managers, and external partners — from the sensor to the cloud.

Requirements

• Desire to learn & curiosity – You want to understand how a system truly works — from the sensor data stream to the finished analysis in the web frontend.
• Development talent – You have experience or a strong interest in Embedded Linux, database connectivity, and full-stack technologies (e.g., MQTT, Flask, Node.js).
• Hands-on mentality – You turn ideas into code and solve challenges pragmatically.
• Team player & responsibility – You enjoy working in a team, take ownership, and actively contribute to our growing company.
• Bonus — but not required — experience with Docker, REST APIs, vehicle protocols, ISO/EN standards in the rail context, handling real-time data, or performance optimization for high-volume data.
