Associate Chattel Risk Evaluation Analyst assessing and valuing chattel collateral for American AgCredit across multiple states. Collaborating with teams to ensure quality evaluations and compliance.
Responsibilities
Within the scope of delegated authority, the Associate Chattel Risk Evaluation Analyst works primarily in a virtual capacity while conducting verification and valuations of chattel collateral using customer-provided photos and videos and third‑party verification sources
This role is responsible for the coordination and completion of Chattel Evaluations across multiple states and commodities
The Evaluator collaborates virtually with team members across appraisal, operations, and credit staff to ensure quality, timely, and accurate service to customers and Customer Hub Teams
Responsible for the proper execution of evaluations for designated commodities
Maintains expertise in a broad range of collateral types financed by the Association
Supports the Association’s lending process by joining or coordinating with lending teams on virtual customer calls and business development efforts
Ensures evaluations meet internal review and Internal Audit criteria for the designated commodities
Completes or supervises all Evaluation Levels up to Minimum Scope Evaluations
Assesses, verifies, and evaluates chattel collateral up to $5MM within the assigned Delegated Evaluation Authority
Coordinates with Lending and Underwriting teams to request borrower documentation and verify accuracy of reported collateral using third‑party sources
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in a similar role
Up to 20% travel required for necessary site visits and in‑person inspections
Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and work well with a team
Some lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds required
Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
Position requires the ability to travel
