About the role

  • Tech Lead overseeing digital solutions in critical infrastructure at V.tal, driving technical architecture and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for the evolution of Workforce and FTTH Scheduling systems, ensuring resilience, scalability, security, and operational continuity in mission-critical environments.
  • Serve as a technical and architectural reference, guiding teams in solution design, code reviews, and the definition of standards and best practices.
  • Drive technical decisions considering trade-offs, NFRs, TCO, operational risk, and systemic impact, especially in coexistence scenarios between legacy systems and strategic platforms.
  • Maintain and evolve solution architecture based on microservices, APIs, and event-driven integration, ensuring decoupling, traceability, and governance.
  • Work closely with the strategy to unify Workforce into Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL), defining integration paths, coexistence approaches, and system decommissioning.
  • Ensure advanced observability practices, including structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and proactive monitoring.
  • Support the definition of integration contracts (APIs, events, messaging), ensuring versioning, idempotency, and evolutionary compatibility.
  • Collaborate across Corporate Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Product, and Operations to ensure technical and strategic alignment.
  • Lead incremental modernization initiatives, avoiding big‑bang approaches and reducing operational risk.
  • Act as the technical focal point in relationships with strategic vendors and software delivery partners, ensuring governance and technical quality.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as a Tech Lead or Solutions Architect in complex, high-criticality environments.
  • Strong backend expertise (Node.js/TypeScript and Java; Python is a plus).
  • Familiarity with flow diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed architectures, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, and Hexagonal Architecture.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture (EDA) and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
  • Experience with complex integrations across multiple systems and business domains.
  • Experience with CI/CD and pipelines as part of the architecture (Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions).
  • Experience with API Management (Apigee or similar).
  • Solid knowledge of observability (ELK Stack, Datadog).
  • Experience with Kubernetes (GCP, OpenShift, or equivalents).
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MongoDB).
  • Practical experience in DevSecOps and security-by-design.
  • Experience in high availability, mission-critical, 24x7 operational environments.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Nice-to-haves: Experience in telecommunications, OSS/BSS, Workforce Management, or field operations. Experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) or similar workforce platforms. Experience with AI. Experience in rationalizing and consolidating system portfolios. Ability to act as a bridge between technology, business, and operations. Certifications in Cloud, Architecture, Kubernetes, Salesforce, or backend technologies.
