About the role
- DevOps Engineer supporting internal R&D and engineering teams by managing infrastructure and streamlining CI/CD pipelines. Ensuring high availability and security in cloud and edge environments.
Responsibilities
- Support internal R&D and engineering teams by building, maintaining, and improving development and deployment workflows.
- Manage infrastructure across cloud and edge environments.
- Streamline CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of containerized applications.
- Collaborate with IT and software teams to automate repetitive tasks, manage system-level services, and deliver production-ready environments across Google Cloud, local servers, and embedded devices.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Docker and Docker Compose in both cloud and local environments,
- GitLab CI/CD pipeline development, including modular job templates and YAML optimization,
- Proficiency in Bash, Python and Terraform for scripting, metric collection, and workflow automation,
- Experience with cloud services is essential. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Artifact Registry, Storage) is a strong advantage, but equivalent experience with AWS or Azure is also acceptable,
- SSL/TLS automation, secrets management, and best practices for securing containerized and cloud-based systems
- Good to have skills
- Familiarity with Kubernetes & Helm,
- Monitoring & Telemetry (Grafana/Prometheus),
- Experience working with DNS management, service proxies (e.g., Traefik), system services, and certificate management
