About the role

Senior Backend Developer ensuring stable operation of backend systems at aedifion. Contributing to energy-efficient building operations with Python and Kubernetes expertise.

Responsibilities

Ensure reliable operation of the Multilogger and Edge Device services through proactive maintenance and systematic resolution of critical production issues.
Design, implement, and continuously improve Python-based services for operations, infrastructure, and API integrations.
Actively drive improved automated test coverage and establish sustainable testing best practices.
Work with containerized systems and Kubernetes to deploy, monitor, and optimize backend services.
Reduce manual effort in project onboarding through systematic infrastructure development and automation.
Develop and maintain clean, robust integrations with external systems and services.
Contribute to team growth through hands-on mentoring, comprehensive documentation, and active participation in code reviews.

Extensive experience in backend development with Python in production environments.
Strong, senior-level proficiency with containerized systems and Kubernetes.
Proven track record of building and improving automated test coverage using modern testing frameworks and strategies.
Strong ability to prioritize effectively in day-to-day operations.
Deep commitment to code quality following clean code principles and established design patterns.
Clear, proactive communication style with the ability to explain technical decisions, conduct constructive code reviews, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
Fluent English skills, written and spoken, for international team collaboration and technical documentation.
Nice-to-have: Experience with Go/Golang, familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum), and exposure to IoT, edge computing, or time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB).
