Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer – Building Services / Energy Systems | SaaS (m/f/d), your mission is to ensure our IoT solutions make buildings measurably more energy-efficient and sustainable.
You will support customer projects from implementation through to operational optimization.
Combine technical understanding with structured project management and play a key role in sustainably reducing CO₂ emissions in the building sector.
Learn to manage complex customer projects independently, supported by experienced colleagues.
Build solid expertise in building services, IoT systems and project management and develop into a sought-after expert at the interface of engineering, sustainability and customer relations.
Analyze operational building data, identify energy-saving opportunities and derive clear, actionable recommendations.
Requirements
Completed degree in building services engineering, energy systems, mechanical engineering, supply engineering or a comparable technical qualification provides the foundation for this role.
Basic understanding of technical building equipment gained through internships, working student roles or initial professional experience — willingness to learn is more important than years of experience.
Strong ability to explain technical concepts clearly and to communicate at different levels, from technical teams to executive management.
Structured, solution-oriented approach with the ability to set priorities, work independently and proactively seek support when necessary.
Confident use of digital tools and willingness to quickly learn new systems such as IoT platforms, project management tools (Jira, Confluence) or energy management systems.
Fluent German and English (C1) spoken and written for effective communication with customers and the international team.
