About the role

  • Ecosystem Manager leading partnerships and ecosystem growth for a semiconductor research center. Fostering innovation in automotive through strategic collaborations and technology advancements.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ecosystem building and strategic partnerships in the region
  • Drive ecosystem and business development activities by translating advanced semiconductor and chiplet roadmaps into actionable collaboration strategies
  • Engage with multinational corporations, deep-tech startups, and scale-ups
  • Lead opportunity validation and partnership structuring
  • Guide partners through the full engagement lifecycle
  • Support strategic negotiations and contribute to long-term partnership agreements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and ecosystem partners
  • Represent the organization at industry and academic events

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering, business, ecosystem management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in building strategic partnerships, programs or ecosystem management in a high-tech or deep-tech environment
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor technologies and their applications, preferably in the automotive segment, but also in emerging domains such as AI, sensing, robotics
  • Comfortable with multi-level, multi-stakeholder partner interactions
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and ecosystem building
  • Established network that includes contacts at large tech and industrial companies across Europe
  • Strong organizational, planning, verbal, written communication, and analytical skills
  • Team player with a can-do attitude
  • Fluent in English and German
