About the role

  • Lead procurement operations team at Absa overseeing third party onboarding and compliance processes. Enhance operational efficiency through methodologies while managing stakeholder relations and team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team responsible for onboarding and verifying third parties for Absa
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for payments
  • Manage day-to-day operations and client relations
  • Build relationships with Functional Leads and stakeholders
  • Implement lean/sigma methodologies for process improvement
  • Oversee supplier onboarding, screening, and risk assessments
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure high employee morale
  • Support recruitment and training initiatives
  • Manage budget and cost control measures
  • Review and analyze performance reports and implement solutions

Requirements

  • 5 years of related experience in: Source-to-Pay processing
  • Procurement solution support (SAP, Coupa)
  • Supply chain data management
  • First line customer support and enablement
  • Third Party due diligence and risk management
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications (i.e., Procurement (CIPS) / Logistics / Supply Chain, Technology (SAP/ Coupa) NQF level 4 and above Diploma in Risk Management/ Sourcing/ Project Management, and or Supply Chain related qualification.
