About the role

• Staff Engineer building the Next-Gen Creator Suite and AI Engine at ablefy’s fast-moving AI Incubator team. Engaging in hands-on coding and architectural decisions for ambitious projects in a startup-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Architecture & Delivery (80% Focus)
• Build the Next-Gen Creator Suite: Lead the end-to-end engineering of scalable and competitive products for creators to create and host their content from scratch.
• Architect for AI-First Experiences: Design and implement the "AI Engine" that powers our products and delivers real customer values.
• Ensure the performance and scalability: Write high-quality, production-ready code for the majority of your day.
• Technical Excellence & Strategic Foresight
• Future-Proof API Design: Design APIs with foresight, ensuring they allow for generic extensions and future use cases without requiring constant refactoring.
• Production-Grade AI Implementation: Go beyond Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• AI-Native Leader: Stay ahead of the trend by experimenting with and pushing for new AI tools and processes.
• System Health: Ensure that while we move fast, we don't break things.
• Mentorship & Team Elevation: Coach by Doing: Support the 2-3 engineers on your team not just through code reviews, but by pair-programming and hands-on solving the most difficult engineering problems together.

Requirements

• Excellent Fullstack Engineer: Deep expertise in our modern stack (Next.js).
• Strong experience with Vercel and AWS.
• Proven track record of building and shipping scalable AI products using LLMs and other models.
• You can make critical decisions on system architecture, data modeling, and infrastructure that allow a product to scale from day one.
• You thrive in greenfield environments.
• You have built products from the ground up and possess a customer-centric mindset, always connecting technical solutions to user problems.
• You don't wait for permission. You identify blockers, propose solutions, and execute them. You are comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.
• You elevate those around you. You are the person the team turns to when they are stuck on a hard technical problem.
• Nice to Have: Data science knowledge; Ruby on rails knowledge to connect with the legacy products; Open Source / Public Building: A history of sharing your learnings or contributing to tools in the AI/Web ecosystem.
