About the role
- IT Infrastructure Intern supporting hardware and software systems in a collaborative IT team environment. Gaining hands-on experience while contributing to operational efficiency and security initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software systems.
- Support the IT team in managing system resources.
- Help monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Participate in the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and network diagrams.
- Provide support for IT-related projects and initiatives, including security protocol implementation.
- Ensure all IT equipment is inventoried and maintained.
- Respond to technical support requests and resolve user issues promptly.
Requirements
- Current sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience or understanding of networking concepts and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
