About the role

  • Inside Sales Professional at Pref-Tech sourcing sales opportunities through outreach and understanding customer needs. Supporting sales processes, performing proposals and estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales and Design Professional for further development and closure
  • Working with customers to ensure a smooth sales process
  • Handling most material only sales and supporting designated SDP to assist with Preferred Partner accounts
  • Providing backup to the Sales Coordinator and SDPs in their absence
  • Demonstrating excellent customer services and professionalism
  • Developing leads and seeking opportunities to present additional products to current customers

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Typing: Net Speed of 35 words per minute
  • Experience in creating estimates, proposals, and designs
  • Experience in the security industry preferred
  • Strong client facing experience
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office 365 software tools
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy
