Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support business analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and translate them into efficient data models and architectures.
- Extract, transform, and integrate data from internal and external sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Implement and optimize data storage solutions using cloud platforms and big data technologies such as Apache Spark and Kafka.
- Analyze complex data flows and system integrations to propose effective solutions and improvements.
- Develop, test, and deploy code to automate data processing and support data governance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 4 years' experience in software engineering or related field, or 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related field, or Master's degree in Computer Science and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related field.
- 3 years' experience in data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics.
- 7–10+ years of experience in data engineering, building and operating large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant data platforms.
- Deep expertise in cloud-native data ecosystems (GCP or Azure preferred), including services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, or equivalent.
- Proven track record of designing data architectures that scale across multiple teams and use cases, including batch, streaming, and hybrid systems.
- Strong understanding of agent-consumable data patterns, including semantic modeling, embeddings, knowledge graphs, and context enrichment strategies.
- Expert-level skills in data modeling and system design.
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with LLM-enabled systems.
- Advanced knowledge of data governance and trust frameworks.
- Fluency in Python, Java, or Scala, with a strong engineering mindset around testability, maintainability, and performance.
- Expert SQL skills and experience optimizing analytical workloads across massive datasets.
