About the role

Risk Analyst Lead managing AI risk assessments for USAA, coordinating with multiple oversight teams and driving risk-based decision making. Mentoring junior team members and aggregating insights for leadership.

Responsibilities

Identify and seek key partners across the enterprise to support the management of risks and controls
Present findings and recommendations to various levels of leadership
Routinely communicate results of risk assessments to governance committees, business process owners and various levels of leadership
Develop strategies, tools, and methodologies to measure, monitor, and report risks
Lead cross-functional teams to identify, assess, aggregate and mitigate current and emerging risk events
Formulate stress test plans for a line of business or the enterprise

Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field
8 years of risk management, regulatory or operations experience in a relevant functional area
Or advanced degree/designation in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or other field relevant to risk management and 6 years of work experience in a subject area relevant to risk management
Knowledge of risk management principles, tools and applicable systems
Risk management experience in a complex institution and/or highly matrixed environment
Experience in conflict resolution management
Ability to work with both internal and external partners
Critical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint.
