Responsibilities
Responsibility for developing, implementing and continuously improving EHS strategies and programs
Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies in occupational health & safety, environmental protection and fire safety
Conducting and supporting risk analyses, hazard assessments, and internal and external audits – including preparation, management and further development of our ISO certifications (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
Establishing and advancing a centralized Quality Management system (QMS) to standardize processes and documentation
Implementing and enhancing a new digital training platform for EHS-related training and qualification measures
Acting as the point of contact for managers, employees and external stakeholders on all EHS-related topics
Planning and delivering trainings, briefings and awareness campaigns
Managing EHS projects including reporting and KPI monitoring
Requirements
Degree in environmental management, occupational safety, engineering or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in the EHS field, ideally in an international or service-oriented environment
Solid knowledge of relevant laws, standards and regulations (e.g. ArbSchG, BetrSichV, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
Experience in building and developing management systems (e.g. QMS or integrated management systems) is an advantage
Strong communication skills and high advisory competence
