About the role

  • Immigration Project Manager driving successful planning and execution of projects at Greenberg Traurig. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing project portfolios for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Driving the successful planning and execution of complex projects that benefit the Immigration practice
  • Working with cross-functional teams, including IT, various business operations teams, and stakeholders
  • Managing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with Firm strategy and operational excellence
  • Supporting portfolio-level initiatives, collaborating with project sponsors and owners to deliver measurable results and meet KPIs
  • Defining project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget in partnership with project sponsors
  • Leading and directing geographically dispersed project resources
  • Managing the intake, triage, and prioritization of all new Immigration projects
  • Reporting status on all projects in the portfolio including priority
  • Communicating project status, risks, and issues to leadership
  • Facilitating stakeholder meetings, training sessions, and team engagements
  • Coordinating technology systems, AI tools, and process improvement initiatives
  • Participating in client requirements discussions and documenting requirements
  • Applying sound change management methodologies
  • Establishing metrics and reporting mechanisms to evaluate project effectiveness

Requirements

  • At least 5 years overall project management responsibility
  • client-facing management consulting or law firm experience a major plus
  • Project Management Professional Certification preferred
  • Paralegal certification or Immigration Clerk experience is a significant plus
  • Extensive experience leading through all phases of the project lifecycle (initiation through closure)
  • Experience managing multiple project types, including feasibility studies, opportunity assessments, business case development, RFP/vendor selection, custom in-house builds, process improvements, etc.
  • Skilled in translating business requirements into technology solutions, including evaluating, selecting, and deploying technology platforms and AI tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, measure results, and optimize technology and AI project outcomes
  • Successful track record managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experienced in change management, particularly in digital transformation and AI adoption initiatives
  • Effective communicator with experience presenting complex concepts to senior management and staff
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
  • Solid understanding of AI concepts (machine learning, natural language processing, automation) as applied in professional services
  • Deep knowledge of immigration case management systems (e.g., INSZoom, LawLogix, or Tracker) and project management tools
