Responsibilities
Oversee and execute systems engineering activities including requirements decomposition, system design, and integration
Perform complex analyses and trade studies for system concept selection
Create and control systems engineering artifacts like RVTM, ICD, architecture diagrams, and test plans
Devise innovative solutions for complex problems via in-depth analysis
Direct hardware/software integration and system-level testing
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate technical concepts
Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements
Conduct risk management and provide solutions to technical challenges
Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
Build relationships with stakeholders to meet project objectives
Work on-site in Minneapolis with travel to San Diego up to 25% during key activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 3 years of experience; or PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
