About the role
- Senior Systems Engineer at Captivation Software designing and maintaining DevOps resources for multiple teams. Responsible for automation of build and deployment and managing cloud computing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Developing Infrastructure As Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools.
- Install, configure, and provide performance tuning utilizing: Kubernetes and cloud native logging and metrics collection tools (i.e. Elasticsearch, Grafana/Prometheus)
- Managing Gitlab CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code utilizing GitLab runners and Argo CD
- Managing commercial cloud computing platforms (AWS)
- Communication and collaboration with other team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
- Twenty (20) years-experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
- Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
